After-School Opportunity Lab

A nonprofit organization

At A-SOL, our vision is to foster a future where every child has the tools and knowledge to break the cycle of poverty and homelessness through early education in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, leadership, teamwork, and project management. Our mission is to empower underserved youth through an after-school and summer program, introducing them to an array of vocations, entrepreneurial concepts, and life skills that can change the course of their lives. Partnering with various local businesses, students will engage in projects that will enhance their education and serve their community.

Mission

A-SOL’s mission is to empower underserved youth through an after-school and summer program, introducing them to an array of vocations, entrepreneurial concepts, and life skills that can change the course of their lives.

Needs

Donating to A-SOL unlocks transformative opportunities for both young students and aspiring entrepreneurs in the South Dallas Community. Our commitment is to provide life-altering business skills and hands-on experiences to students through our after-school and summer programs, entirely free of charge. Similarly, the entrepreneurs the students serve receive our services without any financial burden, allowing them to focus on their business. As our reach expands and the demand for our cost-free offerings surges, it's crucial we secure funds to enhance these programs and hire a dedicated Program Coordinator. This role ensures consistent, high-quality mentorship for our students and support for our local entrepreneurs. Your generous contribution reaffirms our mission: to pave pathways for success and dreams without letting financial constraints become a roadblock.

Equity Statement

At A-SOL, we are steadfast in our commitment to fostering an environment where every student, irrespective of their background, has an equitable opportunity to thrive. We believe that true empowerment arises from recognizing, respecting, and valuing diverse experiences, ensuring that all voices are heard and valued.
