Addy's Hope Social Services

We are a small adoption agency that focuses on serving the legally free children stuck in the foster care system. We recruit, train and support families who are willing to step into the lives of children who are deeply wounded from a beginning of abuse and neglect in their families or origin and many times continued abuse and neglect in our child welfare system. We stand firm on the belief that every child deserves a forever family and that we as humans never outgrow our need for parents and belonging in a family!

Since beginning our state adoption program 9 years ago, we had doubled our number of children placed year over year, until last year when COVID shut down the child welfare system's movement. However, we are gearing up for our biggest year ever in 2022. We have placed 155 children who were in CPS custody into forever adoptive homes - 17 of those placements occurred in 2021! We have an extremely successful kinship adoption program that we use to give children permanency in homes where families have stepped up to provide care for children in their family. Many of these families cannot/will not completed the foster care approval process. So we step in as an adopt only agency and provide permanency for the children and services for the family they would otherwise go without.

Our Needs

Capital money for the building of Hope Crossing which will be a 14 unit apartment complex for young men ages 18-22 who have aged out of foster care.
