Founded in 2014, 6 o'Clock Dance Theatre (6DT) provides a unique opportunity for dancers to perform at an elite level while also allowing them the flexibility to work full-time in the career of their choice!
Our dancers work in various industries from 9 to 5 — but at 6 o’Clock, we ALL dance!
Artistically, 6DT strives to inspire audiences worldwide through performance and education. We also remain firmly committed to creating true value for our audiences, industry partners, and the arts community in Dallas.
6 o'Clock Dance Theatre is a 501(c)3 non-profit arts organization. Our mission is to produce innovative and unique contemporary ballet at elite levels of artistic excellence.
Our needs include (but are not limited to):
- access to rehearsal space, storage space, and performance venues,
- project sponsorship to enable us to develop more educational and community outreach programming,
- production sponsorships that allow us to perform 2-day runs and/or that allow us to offer free or discounted tickets, and
- volunteers to help out backstage, in the front-of-house, or with basic marketing for our season concerts
6 o'Clock Dance Theatre celebrates the beauty of diversity by uniting dancers of all backgrounds, ethnicities, nationalities, shapes, and sizes in the pursuit of technical and artistic excellence through hard work and dedication.
