$10,000 Goal

We are seeing the lives that are being changed by the dogs we train. It is not just the recipient, but also their kids, spouses, employers that are seeing the benefits. The agencies that receive a candidate for detection is saving countless amounts of money to not have to buy a dog from a vendor that is over priced and has strings attached. For the Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) K9 we pair with agencies and their Peer Support Units, we are helping keep people on the job. This is also a financial win for the agency, the money it takes to train a new person is immense, not to mention the loss of the experience.

Our Needs

Funds for medical care, dog food and training equipment for the dogs.
Funding for a 5-10 dog indoor/outdoor kennel facility.
Funding for a training building/meeting place for volunteers/recipients/community events.

Mission

Too many dogs were being thrown away because they didn't fit in "The Mold". These same dogs were the ones being put down in shelters because they were too hyper or untrainable to the novice trainer or pet owner. We take these dogs and teach them to be life savers! It could be as a Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) K9 or a Police Service K9. Either way, it is a Win Win for all involved.

Needs

We are in need of financial support to supply even more dogs across the state. We are getting requests all the time and we would like to get these specially trained dogs out to agencies that need them even faster.

This means we need more housing, more veterinary care, and more dog food.

Equity Statement

We serve all 1st Responder Agencies across the nation. It does not matter where the agency is located within the United States. All are welcome to apply.
