While our main focus is providing equipment, training and education to citizens who are able to practice TNVR themselves, we have also assisted many individuals or businesses in larger projects. These have included helping indigent and disabled citizens overwhelmed by cats on their property or deceased home owner hoarding cases where we work with the City and neighbors to clean up resulting cat overpopulation. PCFCC is the conduit between citizen and Fort Worth animal shelter TNVR involvement including continuous negotiations and communication to continue expansion of responsible and effective TNVR practices in Fort Worth.
We currently need money to assist willing citizens who are unable to practice TNVR due to financial hardship or inaccessibility to free TNVR services. We are also in need of money to assist citizens and fosters with the unexpected consequences of TNVR such as kitten fostering and medication expenses, injured cats or pregnant females.
Panther City Feral Cat Coalition is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity dedicated to working with compassionate individuals, local governments and shelters to humanely control the growth of the feral cat population in Fort Worth, Texas by implementing long-term solutions to significantly reduce the population of unaltered, free-roaming and/or abandoned cats and kittens using a method known as Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR).
We need funds and volunteers. Volunteers can give as much or as little time as they want including transportation of cats, a space for cats to recuperate post surgery, education of citizens in TNVR, media support, and actual TNVR for citizens who are unable to do it themselves.
Panther City Feral Cat Coalition is committed to assisting the citizens of Fort Worth with community cat overpopulation regardless of race, color or creed. Our group welcomes all people who hold a spirit of giving and helping to humanely control cat overpopulation within our community.
