Founded in 2006, McKinney Community Band is an all-volunteer, non-profit instrumental music organization open to adults in McKinney and surrounding areas. We provide band performances throughout the area at no cost for public enjoyment and in support of community events; provide an outlet for adults to pursue a love of music, improve skills and perform; expose the public to many music genres; and serve as an outreach to community members unable to attend concerts by bringing music to them.

MISSION STATEMENT Samoyed Rescue of Texas, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit, all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the states of Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma and New Mexico. We are dedicated to rescuing Samoyed's and strong Samoyed mixes that are homeless for a variety of reasons, dogs at high risk of euthanasia in public shelters, dogs surrendered by owners that can no longer care for them due to difficult circumstances, and those that are suffering from neglect or abuse.

Cowtown Loves Animal Shelter Pets (CLASP) helps to reduce pet population by working with local shelters, rescue groups and the general public to assist with re-homing, spaying/neutering, medical/general care for animals in need and by providing education and/or resources to keep the pet in its current home; rescuing and adopting animals in need; providing financial assistance for medical and/or general care; and educating both owners and potential adopters of the responsibility of pet ownership.
