We are here to love and serve the people of North Texas, the planet and all her inhabitants. As times change and needs evolve, our mission continues to grow. Our current and evolving list of projects:
1. Backpack Project: Every other month, we get together and assemble backpacks for those living on the streets. We have assembled 185 backpacks thus far this year.
During the summer months the street population is predominantly male, our backpacks currently include the following items:
Blanket, towel, 2 wash cloths, 2 pairs underwear, weather proof tarp, rain poncho, flashlight, 3 masks, bug spray,hygiene kit, water bottle, hand sanitizer, stationary/pen/4 stamps, one bag non-perishable snacks plus gatorade powder,, and 3 pairs of Bomba socks. The average cost per backpack is 75.00.
2. Meals & Activities: Since 2012, we have partnered with Family Gateway to provide healthy vegetarian food on a monthly basis. During the first two years of the pandemic, we were only allowed to bring food to the shelter but as of July 2022, we have returned to Family Gateway and prepare a healthy lunch for the residents and staff on the third Monday of every month. The average cost of a monthly meal is $150.00.
3. Christmas for Homeless Families: Since 2012, we have provided a Christmas celebration for homeless families at Family Gateway shelter in Dallas, with presents for everyone. Last year we made the transition to support multiple homeless shelters focusing on those families who were impacted by domestic violence & pregnant teens and/or who didn't have any gift resources. The average cost of a Christmas gift set is $27 per person.
4. Move-in Kits: We provide move-in kits to those who are moving out of shelters into independent living. The average cost for a move-in kit is $45.
5. Hunger: We participate in hunger projects, packing & sponsoring food targeting starving children around the world in developing countries, as well as packing & sponsoring food at our local North Texas & Tarrant County Food Banks.
6. The Environment: We sponsor tree-planting initiatives to help improve the environment and are proud supporters of Sea Turtle, Inc., having sponsored protection of at least one nest of Sea Turtle Hatchlings for 5 years now. We sponsor a sustainable water project for a school in Kenya.
7. Education in Nepal: We sponsor the education of 3 girls in Nepal after a massive earthquake in 2015 ravished their community and the supports available.
8. Medical needs for those needing surgery to repair eye sight (SEE International) as well support for COVID-ravaged India.
9. Relief for Ukraine: In an effort to help those impacted by the war in the Ukraine, we have contributed to the following organizations who have boots on the ground:
*All NTGD donations are dedicated solely to our North Texas programs. We subscribe to the motto of "think global but act local," striving everywhere, especially in North Texas, to be the forbearer of positive change where it is needed.
It is our mutual prayer to leave a legacy of LOVE and kinship for all future generations. It is our privilege to serve you.
Our Wish List includes:
* A permanent home for Living Only Love Sanctuary.--- This could be land to build & grow vegetables on, a building or simply a meeting place to start with (donated, rental or purchase).
* An industrial kitchen & tools, equipped to cook on a large scale to expand our work to serve healthy food to the homeless.
* Potential partners with knowledge, desire and/or access to property to help us with tree planting.
* Foundation Partners - Living Only Love Sanctuary is looking for people that believe in who we are and support the Sanctuary by making regular monthly contributions
Financial Contributions to help with our DFW service projects:
$50 funds a move-in kit for someone who has recently just moved off of the streets into their own place.
$75 funds a backpack full of supplies for a homeless individual
$150 funds one of our monthly meals for the residents of Family Gateway homeless shelter
$27 funds a Christmas gift set for one resident at the Family Gateway shelter (a blanket, winter set of hat, gloves, scarf & a toy for a child). There are 100+ residents.
In-kind or financial contributions for:
- Children & Teens: blankets, books & art sets, first aid & medicines, toys, winter coats, winter scarf, hat & glove sets.
- Adults: backpacks, blankets, socks, underwear, winter coats, winter scarf, hat & glove sets.
To support our classes and meditation retreats, our needs include:
- yearly Zoom fee of 150.00 per year
- Establish a scholarship fund for those who wish to participate in our various programs, but lack the funds to do so.

Living Only Love Sanctuary is a spiritual community whose members come from a variety of faiths & walks of life, but who have chosen to join consciously in order to love and serve our world as one.
We hold classes, as well as twice yearly retreats and annual workshops to teach transformation through love and ignite a desire to serve others within the hearts of the participants. Zoom has taught us that physical distance is an illusion. All our classes and retreats are now conducted on Zoom until meeting together becomes safe again.
We now host Saturday Meditations at 9:30 AM to support everyone during this global crisis as well.
We meet on Zoom the first Sunday of every month at 10:00 AM to mediate for the earth and world peace.
Service has never been more challenging or exciting as it has been and continues to be during the time of COVID and global pandemic. But we feel we are up to that challenge and we have grown remarkably as a result. Love has shown us that we can still make a difference in our world despite circumstances.
