Epilepsy Foundation Texas (EFTX)

A nonprofit organization

We rely on the support of the community to provide services to Texans struggling with the heartbreak of seizures. Your donation provides support groups, seizure recognition and first aid education as well as medical care and prescription insurance for uninsured adults. In addition, over 300 children and teens diagnosed with epilepsy are able to attend one of the Foundation's residential summer camps for a full week! All programs and services at Epilepsy Foundation Texas are offered at no cost to the families.

Our Needs

We need funds to help continue our free education and community outreach events, summer camps for over 300 adolescents with epilepsy, and our 7 medical clinic locations. These clinics treat over 1,800 patients, distribute monthly medications to help control patients' seizures and individual needs, and provide quality diagnostic testing and health services to low-income patients across Texas. All programs and services are offered at no cost to our communities.

Mission

The Epilepsy Foundation leads the fight to overcome the challenges of living with epilepsy and to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures, and save lives.
