Easterseals North Texas has a longstanding history in our community of providing unique programs and services for individuals with a wide variety of disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Alzheimer's disease, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Mental and Developmental Delays.. Over the past several decades, ESNT has expanded services to meet the evolving needs of children and adults with disabilities and their caregivers across the lifespan. We are the largest provider of comprehensive (cradle to grave) disability services in Tarrant County.

All services provided by ESNT play a critical role in the lives of children and adults with disabilities and their families by helping them maximize their independence in order to lead healthy, productive, and social lives. Since 1939, ESNT has provided an array of community living and employment-focused services work, primarily, with adults and transition-age youth to help individuals with disabilities live, work and play in the community, rather than living out their lives in an institutional setting, such as a nursing home or state school.

Our Needs

•           $5,000 leadership gift for the Aces for Autism Cornhole tournament (scheduled in 2022).  Money raised will go to support startup costs for our South Dallas expansion to provide inclusive childcare services in a low income area of our metroplex that is considered a resource desert.

•           $5,000 to provide support for upgraded camera equipment in classrooms.  Provide support for ESNT’s Outpatient Rehab Program, which provides skilled intervention and parent training for children with disabilities from speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists.

Mission

To change the way the world defines and views disabilities by making profound, positive differences in peoples' lives every day. We're proud to serve over 4,500 people with disabilities and their families every year in Dallas-Fort Worth. From therapy and early intervention services, to autism treatment and employment placement, we help children and adults with disabilities, caregivers, veterans, and seniors be at their best as they live, learn, work and play.
