WINNETKA ROBOTICS BOOSTER CLUB

A nonprofit organization

The Winnetka Robotics Booster Club supports the elementary robotics team in obtaining the equipment they need in order to become successful in learning how to build, design, code and program competitive robots. The Winnetka Robotics team has competed in the VEX IQ World Robotics Competition for the past three years. The robotics team has provided a learning environment for low income elementary students to learn Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) through robotics. The robotics team recently won the VEX IQ EXCELLENCE AWARD, BUILD AWARD, THINK AWARD, AMAZE AWARD and the TEXAS STATE CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM WORK CHALLENGE 2018.

Our Needs

The robotics team needs your generous donations to help them reach their competition goals. The goal for the Winnetka Robotics Booster Club is to raise $10,000 that will pay for uniforms for 30 team members, purchase parts to build multiple competitive robots and to aid in all the needs for a team traveling to different states to compete.

Mission

To provide the opportunity for young elementary students to engage in hands on learning to design, build, code and program competitive robots in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) sector.
