$50,000 Goal

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves youth, single-parent families and Veterans experiencing and recovering from homelessness. We provide resources, programs and services that help restore dignity, self-worth and help people become self-sufficient on their journey to Beat Homelessness!

We Can’t Beat Homelessness Without You.

We know you want to help the homeless in Tarrant County. People commonly feel compassion and respond to needs by giving tangible items like socks or hygiene supplies. While those are meaningful donations, they provide only temporary comfort.

We believe we can make a bigger difference and equip people to beat homelessness. That’s why we provide resources to help them regain their self-worth and successfully function in society. We’ve been serving the homeless since 2009 and have helped countless people get back on their feet and find permanent housing.

Last year over 7,400 people experiencing and/or recovering from homelessness were served by our organization throughout Tarrant County and Austin, Texas. Our volunteers logged over 15,130 hours of their time for whenwelove.org this year valued at $431,810.00 (Independent Sector Impact Value/$28.54 per hour).

Our Needs

Our greatest need is financial support! Support that will help us cover funding for services, programs and operating expenses. While we are fortunate to have built an amazing Volunteer Base which helps us extend our reach, we still have expenses related to the cost to operate the building, vehicles, insurance, utilities, etc. at an annual cost of $83,498.00.  As our vision to help people BEAT HOMELESSNESS leads us, we are expanding in Tarrant County with the addition of a 23,000 sq.ft. DREAM CENTER!  YOU CAN HELP US MAKE THE DREAM CENTER A REALITY by donating to help us cover the costs ($387,470.00) of renovations so we can open this Fall.  This property is the First Phase of a 3-Phase Plan to create a Dream Center Campus to support youth, single-parent families and Veterans working to Beat Homelessness!
