The GoodFellow Fund

A nonprofit organization

Our Needs

Monetary donations to assist in providing shoes and clothing to approximately 15,000 underprivileged children in Tarrant County. Volunteers throughout the year are also needed to process the thousands of requests for assistance: specifically, we need help in reviewing applications, setting interview times and interviewing families to ensure eligibility to our stringent guidelines.

Mission

The Goodfellow Fund is a holiday charity founded by Star-Telegram employees in 1912. The Goodfellow Fund provides clothing and shoes for underprivileged school-age children in Tarrant County during the holiday season. With the generous support of the community through donations, The Goodfellow Fund has assisted tens of thousands of families for over 100 years. The Goodfellow Fund is one of the oldest and most respected holiday funds in Tarrant County.
