The mission of the Fort Worth Classic Guitar Society (DBA: Allegro Guitar Society) is to foster interest in and appreciation of the classic guitar; to increase awareness of existing classic guitar repertoire and to encourage creation of new classic guitar repertoire; to present distinguished concert artists and composers; and to encourage and support the training, development, and professional education of aspiring professional classic guitarists.
Our greatest need is to communicate with the public to let them know we are here. After decades of operation, most of the public doesn't know about us. We encounter people who say, "I didn't we had a guitar society." Unfortunately, it is very expensive to advertise and we don't have a savvy social media expert.
