Dallas County Master Gardeners can be seen working throughout all sectors in the county.
* Master Gardeners from our Speakers Bureau present Garden educational programs to a wide variety of groups.
* Our volunteers propagate plants in the greenhouse at the Texas Discovery Garden located at Fair Park and maintain the Master Gardener's Garden, which educates the public on the use of native and adaptive plants to attract wildlife using Earth-Kind® practices.
* The Raincatcher's Garden of Midway Hills and the new gardens at Rowlett Road District 1 Road and Bridge are Research, Education, and Demonstration Gardens where best practices and research-based education are provided to both the homeowner and the commercial horticulture trade.
* In addition, we have seven demonstration gardens, two community gardens, and a public events garden.
* In our nine public school gardens, you will see Master Gardeners teaching students in Pre-K through 5th grades about research-based gardening practices.
