Anne Gottschall for Little Hearts of Hope

I serve on the board of this tremendous organization, Little Hearts of Hope ("LHOH"). Born from the hardships of battling her husband's cancer, the founder of the organization, Kerri Steele, founded LHOH to provide support to the innocent bystanders of cancer disease - young children who have siblings, parents, and loved ones battling cancer and who need emotional support. As parents and caregivers are often away dealing with appointments, hospital visits, and endless caregiving, healthy children often suffer alone. 

LHOH serves children all over the US with hope packages that provide artistic outlets for kids to cope with the enormous gravity of cancer. These packages also have scripture lessons for children, leveraging faith-based teachings to help kids cope.
