Cereal, Coco, annd Diamond are a few of the heartworm positive dogs who’ve been fostered with The Happy Pet Project. Sadly, these three won’t be the last dogs in THHP’S care that will be heartworm positive...and it’s 100% preventable and treatable!
Treatment is expensive and a long process requiring many months of medication and a series of painful injections near their spine. Watching a dog go through heartworm treatment will break your heart!
For this year's North Texas Giving Day, I am raising funds for THPP’s heartworm positive dogs and the goal is to raise $1000 to provide heartworm treatment for future Happy Pets in need.
