Awaken Ensemble’s Tenors and Basses

Awaken Ensemble is a choir based in Arlington, TX made up of (mostly) music educators across DFW. We are all volunteers donating our time to sing concerts for causes. Our concert partners have the opportunity to speak and raise awareness about their organization to a new-to-them audience. We have partnered with Hagar's Heart, Refugee Services of Texas, Arlington Museum of Art, TCC food pantry, Music Therapy Access Fund, Water to Life, Families in Transition, and many more. When you give to support Awaken, you are also supporting many other organizations that are doing amazing things in our world. In July of 2023, Awaken was selected to perform at the Texas Choral Directors Association as the premier choir in San Antonio. The funds you give help provide travel expenses to the volunteer choir members, pay for sheet music, pay our pianist, pay our video crew, and help fund printing programs. 

By harnessing the intrinsic power of music, we hope to awaken the inherent good of the human spirit. We know that choral music has the capacity to speak to the human condition in a way that nothing else can. It is our desire to create musical experiences that are not just heard but felt.

Our purpose is to awaken and inspire the human spirit through creative, innovative, excellent, and relevant choral artistry partnered with local nonprofit organizations doing important work in the community. We perform a wide variety of styles that are well-conceived and strategically planned to speak directly to the hearts and minds of listeners.
