Jalil Dawood is the founder of World Refugee Care and Pastor of the Arabic Church of Dallas. He came to this great nation as a refugee, and his family was separated for more than 20 years. But by the grace of God and help from kind people in the US, Jalil thrived right here in North Texas. Today, Jalil has made it his mission to help other local refugees thrive as well.
Your North Texas Giving Day gift will help feed and shelter local refugees, and share with them the everlasting hope of salvation through Christ. Thank you for your support!

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’”
-Matthew 25:34-36
