Our Needs

Historic Fort Worth, Inc. seeks funding for the restoration of the 1899 Ball-Eddleman-McFarland House.  Designed by English architect Howard Messer for Sarah Ball, a Galveston widow, upon Mrs. Ball's death, the house was purchased in 1904 by William H. Eddleman and his wife, Sarah, for their family, including their daughter, Caroline, and her husband, Hays McFarland.  McFarland House is a Queen Anne architectural time capsule that serves as Historic Fort Worth's headquarters for citywide preservation.

Mission

Historic Fort Worth is dedicated to preserving Fort Worth's unique historic identity through stewardship, education, and leadership.

Gifts to HFW support the following programs:

* Programs like the Most Endangered List, awards, the

Cantey Lecture and, tours of historic properties and

much more
