$60,000 Goal

We impact our community by rescuing dogs off the streets, from shelters, from owner surrenders. We give them a chance at a healthy and beautiful life. Not only do we impact these dogs, we impact the families who adopt them. We adopt dogs to all, we do not discriminate on the basis of race or sexual orientation. We bring families of all kinds together.

Our Needs

DFW Lab Rescue spends on average over $1,000 on vetting care for each dog that comes in to the program. With adoption fees ranging from $300-$375, donations are necessary to make up the difference and continue rescuing Labradors in need. 97 cents of every dollar is spent directly on veterinary care, boarding and training for our rescued Labs.

Mission

Our mission is to alleviate the needless death and suffering of homeless or misplaced purebred Labrador Retrievers in Dallas/Fort Worth area. By rescuing and rehabilitating homeless Labrador Retrievers in our community, vigorously promoting responsible dog ownership through pet events and our own education, we strive for a better life for each of the dogs within our program and all Labrador Retrievers in our community.
