ARC of Texas is an all-volunteer animal rescue group. Â We were founded in 2018. Â Over the last 5 years, we've adopted out over a 1000 cats into their forever homes. Â We are a home based foster group that takes the kitties into our homes until adopted. Â We fully vet each kitty before adoption. Â That includes spay/neuter, FVRCP vaccines, rabies vaccine, microchip, combo tested plus any additional vet work needed on intake or during their foster care time with us. Â We promote them for adoption on petfinder, social media and adoption events.Â
Our Needs
The majority of the funds we raise go towards paying for the vet care for the animals. So many of our rescued animals come to us in distressed conditions. We rescue from shelters, owner surrenders and from the streets. The animals are fully vetted, vaccinated, micro chipped and altered. We provide food, shelter and required medicine for them until they are adopted.
Mission
Rescue at-risk animals. Foster, treat and care for the animals until they can be placed in a safe environment. Conduct fund raising activities. Promote animal welfare and prevent cruelty to animals. Educate the public on animal issues and welfare. Create and promote programs to include spaying and neutering.

Additionally, we have opportunities for volunteers to help with everything from Petco condos, to helping at events, fostering, social media help and much more
