Our wings were inspired by a butterfly – but they started with a big bird.
This year, we’re celebrating 41 years giving wings to the wishes of over 1,800 Texas children who are bravely fighting life-threatening medical conditions.
Founded in 1982, a Wish with Wings was Texas’ first wish-granting agency. The very first wish we granted was a Big Bird backyard playset for 5-year-old Johnny M, and that was only the beginning of a long line of magical moments in the lives of these inspiring children.
From literally hundreds of Disney World family vacations, Hawaii and beach trips, computers, backyard playsets, and shopping sprees, a Wish with Wings has been sharing the gifts of hope, happiness and promise to children across the state of Texas, and especially right here in and around Fort Worth and Dallas!

We are entrusted with creating priceless memories for these amazing children and their families. But we can’t do it without your support. The sound of a child’s laughter, their smiles and excitement upon receiving a Wish are just a few of the gifts you give our Wish children and their families by being a part of mission and magic of a Wish with Wings. To celebrate our 41st year of Granting Magical Wishes, help us exceed last year's goal. Our goal of $50,000.00 in 2023 will help ensure that no child's Wish is ever left unfulfilled. In 2022 we granted a record number of 76 Wishes and we are currently on target to break that record in 2023. But we cannot do it without YOU.
