SWAJA's 90+ year legacy includes the distinction of being the oldest Black Christian private school in Dallas. Serving grades PK-10, it has produced students who have excelled academically and found pride and joy in serving God and their fellow man. Due to our strong emphasis of service, SWAJA boasts graduates who have gone on to become doctors, lawyers, preachers, teachers, real estate moguls, business owners, and many other admirable professionals. The key to their success, and the success of the school throughout its history, is SWAJA's dedication to its mission of harmoniously developing each child spiritually, mentally, and physically.
The Catherine Black Jackson scholarship and enrichment fund allows us to provide tuition assistance to families in need and expand our programming each year.
We are in need of replenishing this fund so that we can continue to meet the needs of students and families interested in our school.
Additionally, we would like to continue offering programs such as Art, Foreign Language Acquisition, Sewing, Gardening, Robotics, Entrepreneurship, and Public Speaking.
Southwest Adventist Jr. Academy exists to partner with parents to create a safe, Christian educational setting that will ensure the optimal development of children through holistic instruction, positive associations, and unforgettable experiences.
