Rivertree Academy

Rivertree Academy is a private Christian elementary school of choice for under-resourced families living in poverty in the Lake Como community of Fort Worth. Currently, in our ninth year of school, we serve 96 students in pre-K3 through 5th grade. All funds raised will support educating our children and equipping them with tools that can change the trajectory of their lives. This includes curriculum and instruction that focuses on addressing educational gaps, two meals a day, a full set of uniforms for the year, access to trauma-informed services, an after-school program that combines academic and extracurricular enrichment opportunities, daily transportation services from school, and field-trips that bring in class learning to life. By exposing our students to a holistic educational model rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, our hope is they will become invested community citizens who possess good habits for life.

Our Needs

Donations from generous community partners make this life-changing education possible every year for our students. Without their support, Rivertree would be unable to provide this opportunity for families in Como. Our greatest need is for partners to sponsor a student's tuition. A gift of any size towards a child's tuition gives them access to an education that can change the trajectory of their life.
