In rapid response to the needs of our neighbors, LIFT R&R developed its free online services directory, upLIFT event series, and rolled out a suite of financial literacy classes.

People use our free online directory to search for organizations in the area and their services. Vitally, this data is current. Because we prioritize personal involvement with other organizations, they keep us informed.
We also ensure it's correct by partnering with the Collin County Probation Department. Specially-approved clients earn community service hours verifying directory information. Because this is done "virtually" it fills a desperately-needed category of service hours.
upLIFT event series
LIFT R&R responded to an emergency call to become an official distributor for Marine Toys for Tots, ensuring over 400 families had Christmas. Now we do it every year.
"One man's trash is another man’s treasure". We spend the year curating donations. Then host an event introducing selected families to featured nonprofits. Families leave with donated furniture, clothing, home essentials, food, gift cards, and, most importantly, personal connections with organizations that can help.
During Spring into Action, we gather hygiene supplies for nearly 100 senior citizens at Northpark Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. We return each winter with essential care items, goodies, and holiday cheer.
financial literacy classes
LIFT R&R quickly recognized the need for financial literacy among some of our neighbors in need. Partnering with Bank of America and First United Bank, we supply free financial self-paced online courses. We also teach a virtual 5-week class covering credit, debt, budgeting, and savings.
LIFT R&R connects neighbors in need with organizations that help by providing free to low-cost services. If there’s a gap in services, LIFT R&R is here to help.
LIFT R&R regards fellow nonprofits as we would another neighbor and seek to help them achieve their goals through free marketing, advertising, and collaboration.

For 2022/3 finance committee findings show that a gently-used pickup truck to collect donations would save us money. We're currently saving toward its purchase.
