$5,000 Goal

KLB's focus on sustainable programs, volunteer engagement, and community improvement make a difference by providing hands-on volunteer opportunities, education, and environmental resources to the community. KLB Volunteers make a difference in our community by helping with conservation and beautification projects that plant trees in local parks, seed native wildflowers, create pollinator habitats around town, keep our roadways and waterways clean through cleanup programs, and engage community members with hands on environmental projects. On average, KLB volunteers contribute more than 10,000 volunteer hours annually, and remove 33 tons of trash from local parks, waterways, and community spaces.

KLB's educational programs provide free community classes and resources for adults and youth to make a difference in their local environment. KLB also hosts environmental grant opportunities and youth scholarships for environmental stewards. KLB's active approach to environmental education and engagement through community programs help to make Lewisville a better place to live, work, and play.
