Head Start of Greater Dallas, Inc. remains steadfast in the belief that "Every Child Deserves a Head Start." This belief fuels all aspects of our work to grow access to a quality early childhood experience for a greater number of children ages zero to five. HSGD strives to provide the most comprehensive quality programs for our students and families. The agency has made a commitment to this community for 35 years serving over 100,000 children and families.
Head Start of Greater Dallas is always in need of school supplies for our centers. This year to commemorate the agency's 35th Anniversary. We ask donors to give $35 for 35 years of service provision to children and families. However, if you are feeling generous you can give more, as the agency supplies items such as scissors, construction paper, crayons, and other items when the children are in our care for fun and educational activities that get the children kindergarten ready! In addition, the Early Head Start program provides formula, diapers, and wipes for the littlest learners ages 0 to 3 years old.
Supporting the agency through NTX Giving Day will help HSGD provide for the educational needs of the children, and also assist HSGD to focus support on other immediate agency needs.
HEAD START of Greater Dallas, Inc. provides children with the foundation of skills and knowledge they need to be successful in school and life and fosters self-reliant families and communities.
