Mission

The Greenbelt Alliance of Denton County is a community-based, volunteer organization that fosters awareness of the Greenbelt; generates public support; promotes recreational and educational opportunities; and encourages preservation of the Greenbelt in its present, scenic, natural state for the benefit of all.

The Lake Ray Roberts Equestrian Trails Association (LRRETA) is a partner with the Greenbelt Alliance. LRRETA's mission is to; preserve and maintain trails of Ray Roberts State Park, the Greenbelt, and the North Texas region: make the region a destination for trail riders: and provide community service through various equine related activities.

Upgrade camp sites

Construct a group pavilion at Elm Fork Trailhead

Permanent mile markers on all trails with GPS location

Covered rest stops on 5 different trails
