Dawn of Mercy offers emotional and spiritual healing to individuals harmed by sexual abuse or assault.
Our program offers a retreat in a safe environment for survivors of sexual assault to tell their story of trauma and to see the truth about their self-worth, dignity and goodness. The retreat addresses both emotional and spiritual healing using sound mental health practices. Along with the retreat is a trauma recovery support group (or healing group) for further understanding and healing of the total emotional and spiritual trauma caused by sexual assault. Together, the retreat and support group offer a great healing opportunity. Separate programs are offered for women and men in English and Spanish.
In under three years we have held 5 retreats and 10 Healing Groups with attendees not only from Texas but also 8 other states and even another country.

Through a weekend retreat and ongoing trauma recovery support groups, we help survivors see the truth about their self-worth, and their goodness in the eyes of God, in order to live a life of joy, peace and freedom.

DOM personnel must not engage in physical, psychological, written, or verbal harassment of staff, volunteers, or parishioners and must not tolerate such harassment by other DOM personnel.
a. DOM personnel shall provide a professional work environment that is free from physical, psychological, written, or verbal intimidation or harassment.
