$50,000 Goal

What would you do if you found out that over 200,000 children in DFW do NOT have a bed of their own to sleep in tonight?

What would you do if you knew it only cost $200 to provide a BRAND NEW twin mattress set, bed frame, sheet set, pillow and comforter to that same child?

This is the reality in DFW. Thousands of children go to bed every night on the floor or in an unsafe/unsanitary sleeping condition

Launched in 2015, the Beds4Kidz (B4K) program by Dallas Furniture Bank responds to the growing epidemic of furniture poverty by providing twin mattress sets, bed frames, sheet sets, comforters and pillows to children without beds. All at NO cost to their families.

And we need your help this North Texas Giving Day!

Our NTXGD goal for this year is to get 250 children off the floor an into a NEW bed of their own. No matter how big or small the donation, EVERY dollar matters to ensure no child sleeps on the floor in DFW (unless they are camping out in their living room for fun!).

$5 - Provides a NEW Pillow

$10 - Provides a NEW Sheet Set

$25 - Provides a NEW Bed Frame

$30 - Provides Delivery and Set Up

$60 - Provides the pillow, sheet set, comforter, and bed frame

$110 - Provides a NEW Mattress and Foundation

Giving Activity

Mission

Dallas Furniture Bank provides furniture to families transitioning from homelessness; restoring normalcy and independence.

Though many of our agency partners provide housing for those in need, the resource of furniture is not provided to approximately 90% of these families. At Dallas Furniture Bank, we believe that living spaces should be filled and NO child should ever sleep on the floor. Furniture not only fills a house with practical comfort, but also instills a sense of hope and dignity.
