Creative Corner Productions

A nonprofit organization

We provide our youth with an opportunity to observe, interpret, and create the world through the art of performance with our youth department Yo! (Youth Opportunity!) Theatre. We take liberal arts approaches to the creation and reception of theatre with the unique ability of oral and visual storytelling to reflect upon and inform the world about itself. We are also here to train "thinking" artists and prepare future performers with hands-on experience as actors, dancers, poets, playwrights, technicians, stage managers, and directors.

We engage and mentally stimulate seniors with programs created for seniors creativity, interaction, and social, fine arts collaborations. Our S.I.L.V.E.R. Tour (Seniors In Live Vibrant Entertaining Roles) is where we bring a night at the theatre to senior citizen living facilities to mentally stimulate the seniors and engage in a social experience where seniors feel essential, relevant, and also entertained in an inclusive, friendly environment. "A Night At The Theatre" performances are followed by a motivating conversation to gain feedback to ensure we achieved an enjoyable experience and to ensure future tour performances fulfill our purpose.

Although the Creative Corner has special departments to engage the youth and seniors, we are still a main-stage theatre organization that uses our love of performing arts to help benefit the community by supporting local charities with shared ticket revenue fundraisers! Every primary stage production we complete is a fundraiser that promotes a local organization that benefits the community by helping youth, women, or families. Hosting a show as a fundraiser allows us to provide those organizations with a shared ticket and monetary donated gift!

We are an all-inclusive theatre designed to help eliminate the stigma & prejudice against race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, social economics, mental health, and discrimination. Our vision is well crafted upon diversifying, understanding, and accepting real-world issues.
