Adventures Unbound outings and trips feature day and weekend vacations in and around Texas. Parents, caregivers and guardians are able to send travelers on safe, fun and exciting trips while enjoying some respite a the same time. Adventures Unbound provides a chance for adults with disabilities to see new places and experience new things. Trained caregivers accompany travelers on trips to provide all care and supervision that is necessary for each travelers' needs. Past day trips have included outings to professional sporting events, theater plays, drive-in movies, the Fort Worth Zoo, Dallas Aquariums, community museums, Six Flags Over Texas, Texas Motor Speedway, Scarborough Renaissance Faire, Fossil Rim Wildlife, White Rock Lake as well as others. Overnight trips have included going to San Antonio, TX, Choctaw Casino in OK, Oklahoma City, OK, Morgan's Wonderland/Inspiration Island and Turner Falls, Ok. Although, Adventures Unbound is a new nonprofit organization, we have been doing programs since 2015. In five years we have served 55 travelers with various intellectual and physical disabilities, taken over 50 trips and trained 40 plus volunteer caregivers.
