Statement Concerning Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
We understand the importance to call attention to the issues surrounding diversity, equity and inclusion in our organization as well as in our local community.
Although, the United Way of Wise County is not a social justice or civil rights organization it remains vital to recognize all issues of equal treatment including but not limited to all walks of life regardless of race, ethnicity, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability, veteran status, age, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other protected characteristic under applicable law.
We recognize the need for diversity, equity & inclusiveness in our community and we will remain transparent in meeting the needs of all individuals in our community.
