TexProtects envisions a world where no child ever experiences the trauma of abuse and neglect.

We have some incredible news to share with you! Thanks to the generosity of The Meadows Foundation, every donation you make will now have double the impact. That's right, it's a 1:1 matching donation opportunity!

Can you imagine every child in Texas born with all the resources to meet their immediate and critical needs? WE CAN. We imagine a better future for all Texas children.

Established in 2004, TexProtects is dedicated to protecting, preventing, and healing abused and neglected children. Your support is critical in driving our mission. Last year, there were 56,944 confirmed cases of child abuse in Texas. This is more than 100 elementary schools at full capacity. Tragically, 182 children in Texas lost their lives from child abuse last year alone. Yet we know that child abuse is preventable. This is why we are committed to the protection, prevention, and healing of abused and neglected children. TexProtects' work aims to raise awareness, influence policies, and promote actions to prevent child abuse and neglect. Our work seeks to protect children, support families, and create safe environments where children can grow up free from harm.

Commitment to child abuse prevention is crucial for creating safer and more nurturing environments for children to grow and thrive. With your help, TexProtects makes a significant difference in the lives of thousands of children and families, protecting them from the trauma of abuse and neglect and empower families to thrive.
