I am proud to support Design Connect Create and its commitment to helping girls recognize their potential in STEM and in themselves.
Women remain underrepresented in many STEM fields, even as our communities and industries increasingly need their talent, creativity, and leadership. Design Connect Create helps address this gap by giving girls access to hands-on STEM learning, encouraging role models, mentorship, leadership development, and exposure to future careers.
Through afterschool programming for elementary students, STEM camps for middle and high school students, and mentorship opportunities for high school girls, participants develop technical skills, confidence, career awareness, and meaningful connections.
My goal is to raise $2,000 for North Texas Giving Day to help more girls participate in these transformative experiences.
