Kelly Family Lion Pride Fundraiser

Support Lion Pride: Lion Pride is our annual fundraising campaign and the largest contributor to Sudie PTA's 2026/2027 operating budget! 

We are the the Kelly kids and Robbie (7th) Cate (4th), and Lainey (4th) all attend Sudie TAG. Will you join us in supporting our school so we have the funding to contribute to teacher and staff wish lists, creative gifted and talented programming, after-school activities and clubs, school beautification, special events, and so much more?  Our school's goal is to raise $100,000 from August 27 through September 17 and every dollar helps!

Sudie TAG serves 4th through 8th grade students as a Dallas Independent School District (DISD) Talented & Gifted Academy.  We are so proud to celebrate the most recent achievements of our school and our students:

• Ranked #5 Texas elementary school & # 3 Texas middle school by U.S. News & World Report (2025-26)
• Top marks from the Texas Education Agency (TEA) in 2026, including an overall A rating (98 out of 100 points) and 7 out of 7 distinctions--that's an A rating 6 years in a row!
• Destination Imagination teams advanced to State, and the Fuzzy Boba Penguin team advanced to Global Finals in Kansas City, where they placed 11th out of 27 teams
• The Chess Team, represented by 21 players, placed 1st at the US Chess Federation National Middle School Championship in Round Rock, with the Unrated team placing 1st, the U700 team placing 7th, and individual players placing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in their respective divisions
• Debate Team placed 2nd at the National Speech & Debate Tournament in Virginia and also earned the top two speaker awards in the Middle School Policy Debate division
• 30+ students qualified for the TMSCA State Championship, placing 16th overall, 10th in Calculator, and 8th in Science
• Aerial Drone Club placed 3rd at the State competition
• Outstanding accomplishments for Sudie sports teams, including basketball, flag football, volleyball, track & field, tennis, lacrosse, & soccer (with our middle school boys & girls each fielding teams in the 2nd annual Sudie v. Travis soccer friendly and the girls team taking home the win!)
• National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) completed over 1,000 service hours
• In the PTA Creative Arts Competition - Reflections - Sudie had 20 Regional award winners, with one student receiving an overall award of excellence at Regionals and an honorable mention award at the State level
• Sudie Cheer swept the middle school division of National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) cheer camp
• Robotics Mechanical Mammoths Team advanced to the Regional competition
• An 8th grade student was the DISD Spelling Bee Champion
• Varsity Orchestra received the Sweepstakes Award, which is the highest score in performance and sight reading, & several Orchestra students received superior ratings during UIL solo & ensemble competitions
• Theater 3 received the highest rank of Superior at the DISD Middle School Theater Festival, with several students recognized as Best Actor, Best Technician & All-Star Technician
• Sudie Theater Co. performed the fall play "15 Reasons Not To Be In A Play" and the spring musical "The Lightning Thief: Theater for Young Audiences Edition"
• With more achievements and accolades coming each year! 

The money we raise as a community through Lion Pride is essential to the continued growth and success of Sudie TAG and its students!
