My son, Davion, is in his fourth year as a mentee with Mentoring Brother 2 Brother (MB2B). MB2B is a Dallas, Texas area 501(c)(3) faith-based nonprofit organization, founded in 1998 with the primary objective to provide group mentoring to at-risk African American male youth from single female headed households within southern Dallas County, southeastern Tarrant County, and surrounding communities.

Over this years, Davion has gained new, long-lasting friendships, experienced new adventures, traveled places he's never been, and learned vital nuggets of wisdom in becoming a productive African American male adult. This mentoring program has had such a positive impact on Davion to where he is now more outspoken, accepting accountability for his actions, and focusing on his future.
