Guardians of the Children is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to recognize and react to child abuse and educate the public to do the same; to serve as advocates to provide strength and stability to families in crisis; and be an answer to the prayer of an abused child or teen for courage, support, and protection.
In April 2027, our Big Sandy Chapter will ride over 3700 miles in only 5 days around the perimeter of Texas to kick off Child Abuse Awareness month! This will be a challenge and testament to our members' endurance and dedication as they share our mission across Texas and serve as reminder that the hardships we endure during these 5 grueling days are nothing in comparison to what our children suffer every day on their journey from victim to victor.
