Every 19 minutes, a report of child abuse is made in Dallas County.

It happens in every ZIP code. Every neighborhood. Every school. Every community.

These are our kids. This is our city. And it’s our duty to do something about it.

At DCAC, we work every day to bring healing, safety, and hope to children who have experienced abuse. Abuse affects kids from every neighborhood in Dallas, which is why DCAC must be here for all of them.

This North Texas Giving Day, we are calling on our community to join us in this duty. Together, we can ensure that kids receive the specialized care they need to heal, find safety, and reclaim hope for their futures.

Our Goal

This year, DCAC is setting a goal of $150,000 for North Texas Giving Day. These funds will allow DCAC to continue serving children who need us most and ensure families across Dallas County have access to healing and hope, all at no cost to them.

Why It Matters

When a child experiences abuse, their entire world is shaken. Without timely intervention, the trauma can ripple out for years. But with the right support, healing is possible. At DCAC, children and families find a safe place where their voices are heard and their path toward recovery begins.

Every gift given fuels that healing.
