Reading, just like music, is deeply rooted in long-term memory. Typical magazines, however, present significant challenges for people living with dementia.
Joyful Memories magazine feature large type, high-contrast colors, and an easy-to-follow design. There are no ads, no phone numbers, and no stories continued on another page. Each single-themed issue includes fun, interactive, and engaging content.
It costs $5,000 to create and launch each new issue. That includes purchasing photo rights, plus printing and distributing the first 750 copies.
Your gift will help people living with dementia connect with memories and emotions, as well as with family and friends.
