Help Me Take a Trip This Summer!
Hi, my name is KJ, and I’m excited because I have a chance to go on a Southwest trip with Mentoring Brother 2 Brother. I’ve never been on a trip like this before, and I think it will help me grow.
On this trip, I’ll get to learn from mentors and be around other boys who are trying to do the right thing. I’m a little nervous, but mostly excited because this is a big opportunity for me. My mom is helping me, but we can’t do this by ourselves, so I’m asking for help.
Since I joined, I’ve already done a lot of new things like going camping overnight, visiting Black Wall Street in Oklahoma, learning how to box, and doing leadership classes where we talk about making good choices and building habits. I also got to try things like capoeira and spend time with mentors and other boys who are trying to do the right thing.
