$150,000 Goal

Our school is Christ-centered and unique in that it requires a strong teacher and parent partnership in the education process. Students attend school twice a week in a traditional classroom setting and work with one or both parents from home on alternate days to complete assignments as well as long-term projects planned by one of our degreed classroom teachers. The combined strength of devoted parents at home and highly trained teachers at school create an educational atmosphere in which students thrive and develop a passion for learning in a Christ-centered environment.

In addition to our Christ-centeredness and partnership with parents, Providence Academy adheres to the Classical Education tradition, which according to Dr. Christopher Perrin " blends Christian theology with the historic curriculum and pedagogy of the seven liberal arts in order to cultivate societal leaders characterized by wisdom, virtue, and eloquence." Foundational to a Classical, Christian education is the establishment of a Biblical worldview (called Paideia or the cultivation of mind and morals) by the instructor, which is woven throughout the course of a child's school encounters to understand everything. Our goal is to disciple our students to love great books, appreciate the Majesty of God, and embrace truth, good, and beauty. We are proud to be a part of the Classical, Christian education movement, which is asking this generation to rise to a greater purpose.

Our Needs

By participating in North Texas Giving Day, you will be a part of a unique giving opportunity, raising up future Christian leaders. We have a goal of reaching or exceeding $150,000, making it possible for us to begin our much anticipated and needed building project, which includes classes, common eating area, and a gymnasium. Providence Academy has already secured $83,000 in matching funds, which means every gift made on North Texas Giving Day GOES EVEN FURTHER!

Mission

The mission of Providence Academy is to minister to families by partnering with Christian parents to provide for their children a classical education founded upon a Biblical worldview so that these children may commence a lifelong pursuit of knowledge, wisdom and understanding in their purposeful and passionate service of Jesus Christ, for the glory of God.
