Young Life Pleasant Grove

In Pleasant Grove, a richly diverse and predominantly Hispanic community in southeast Dallas, Texas, where many families face economic hardship, our mission is to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith through relational ministry that meets students where they are.

As a diverse missional community, we are compelled to model the way of Jesus in the lives of young people by building authentic relationships, developing leaders, and walking alongside them in love and purpose. We are committed to reaching every kid in Pleasant Grove—through High School Young Life, Spanish Young Life (Vida Joven) for bilingual and Spanish-speaking students, and Capernaum, our ministry for adolescents with special needs.

We are committed to raising up Kingdom-minded leaders by equipping volunteers with cultural awareness, spiritual depth, and professional excellence (2 Timothy 1:13–15). In partnership with community organizations, we engage Pleasant Grove through education, advocacy, financial education, vocational training, and Christ-centered service (Jeremiah 29:7)—all so that every young person may come to know Jesus, find true belonging, and step confidently into their Kingdom purpose.
