We created Texas Matters to help people like us! We are everyday Texans who care deeply about our families, our communities, and the future of our state. We're also working, raising children, traveling and pursuing our dreams. We want to be informed and engaged, but we don't want politics, polarization and divisive rhetoric to consume our lives.
We are a nonpartisan, unbiased nonprofit dedicated to increasing voter turnout in Texas. We connect the issues and the candidates to three simple questions: What matters most to me? What strengthens my community? What shapes our tomorrow?
We don't tell you what to think. We help you understand the issues, evaluate the candidates and VOTE CONFIDENTLY for leaders who share YOUR PRIORITIES and VALUES.

Needs
Every donation helps us reach more Texans. We send unbiased, nonpartisan text messages and reminders to vote. We also provide guides on the issues, the candidates and the elections. Everything we do promotes confidence and participation. Over 90% of donations go directly to outreach, so your money is used wisely! Thank you!
