The Texas Baptist Hunger Offering supports hunger relief and development ministries in North Texas. The Offering functions as a network of care connecting resources from individuals, churches and organizations through collaboration with trusted Partners to recipient Ministry Providers. Texas continues to face challenging levels of food insecurity and hunger.

The Hunger Offering meets immediate needs by providing essentials and food relief in North Texas including but not limited to hot nutritious meals, lunch bags, fresh produce, and grocery boxes.

Ultimately, the Texas Baptist Hunger Offering is an expression of following Jesus, who ministered to the whole person as He proclaimed good news to the poor, release to the captives, sight to the blind, and liberty to the oppressed (Luke 4:18). The ministries funded by the Hunger Offering follow Christ's example of holistic ministry.
The Texas Baptist Hunger Offering partners with ministries in North Texas to address both physical and spiritual hunger in individuals, families, and communities. The cycle of poverty and causes of hunger are addressed through development efforts. Long term solutions are encouraged through education, job training, mentoring, community gardens, etc.
