The Grapevine Shield Foundation was formed in 2008 with the purpose of being able to provide immediate financial support to any Grapevine Fire Department and Police Departments employees and their families if the employee is severely injured or killed in the line of duty. In 2013 we began offering scholarships for their children who attend college or trade schools. In 2025 we modified this program to be called Educational Grants.
The Grapevine Shield Foundation, Inc., (the “Foundation”) will provide financial support to Grapevine Police and Firemen, and their families if they are seriously injured or killed in the line of duty.
The Foundation will receive funds, property and pledges and will distribute the same as voluntary, gratuitous and charitable gifts to or for the benefit of Grapevine Police Officers and or Firefighters and their families.
Our greatest needs are financial support. Contributions for silent auction items to be sold at our fundraising events are also appreciated.
The Grapevine Shield Foundation will support Grapevine Police and Fire Department employees of any race, color, religion or sexual preference.
