Since 1882, I.M. Terrell has played an important role in shaping the future of Fort Worth students. Today, I.M. Terrell Academy for STEM and Visual & Performing Arts continues that tradition as a Fort Worth ISD school of choice that brings together academic excellence, artistic achievement, innovation, and career-connected learning.
Students from across Tarrant County choose I.M. Terrell to pursue their interests in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, visual arts, music, theater, and other specialized pathways. Along the way, they gain access to rigorous coursework, mentorship opportunities, industry partnerships, competitions, performances, and experiences that prepare them for college, careers, and lifelong success.
The Friends of I.M. Terrell works alongside families, alumni, educators, and community supporters to help provide resources and opportunities that strengthen the student experience and support the continued success of I.M. Terrell students.
