Bridle Up Hope North Texas is a non-profit Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) program designed to provide a transformational experience for girls and women through horses and habits. Our cirriculum combines the healing power of horses with life skills development based on the principles from Stephen R. Covey's book "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People." Our program teaches girls and women to recognize their inherent worth and potential, develop confidence and resilience, and find their voice by creating a connection with horses.
The program includes private lessons with a certified instruction who guides students through practical ways to implement "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" to develop life skills and learn to ride a horse. Students also learn the value of giving back and building community by participating in Barn Service days and activities.
Since our start in 2025, Bridle Up Hope North Texas has graduated over 30 girls and women from our program. As we continue to grow, we are hoping to provide additional scholarships for our students and cover our arena to ensure that lessons can go on rain or shine.
