Couch surfing may sound like fun but it is anything but. For many teenagers it is simply survival. Once a student is forced to leave home, they will bounce from one friend to another in a desperate effort to have a safe place to sleep. Level Pathways seeks to provide STABLE housing for teenagers experiencing homelessness. This allows teens to focus on school and sets them up for a brighter future.
We often see students who, with just a little attention paid to them, start sitting up straight and walking taller. It is amazing what new clothes and a good night's sleep can physically do for someone. This is especially true of teenagers.
We are working hard every day to put an end to teen homelessness in Irving, Texas - protecting, preparing, and positioning homeless teens for their future.
