Our Needs

Keep Denton Beautiful (KDB) is entering its 31st year of working towards a clean, beautiful, vibrant Denton! KDB continues to grow its presence and influence in the community, setting higher records in volunteer numbers, membership rates, and community partners each year.

In the coming year, KDB will be focusing heavily on reaching new supporters of the KDB mission and will be looking to expand environmental project support to local schools through the long-running Environmental Education Grant program (for which we are seeking a total of $1,500 in contributions). In addition to these project-based needs, we are always in need of underwriting support for our ongoing programs. The Denton Redbud Festival, Children's Arbor Day, Community Tree Giveaway, and Great American Cleanup are some of Denton's most beloved community programs. Annually, these and other KDB programs result in more than 10,000 volunteer hours contributed, dozens of tons of litter removed from our city's public spaces, $5,000+ in project funding to area schools and neighborhoods, & more than 2,500 new trees planted.
